The “Crown Jewel” of the Elk River Park system, this 340-acre park is a great place to visit all year round. With its dense woods, prairies and wetlands, you’re sure to find an activity to enjoy – such as bird watching, picnicking, hiking, cross-country skiing, and more.
Hillside Park
Home to over seven miles of singletrack mountain bike trails, which wind through 80 acres of oak forest.
Oliver H. Kelley Farm
Experience a working 1860s farm by picking vegetables from the garden, churning butter, talking with the farmhands, visiting the animals at the barn, and exploring the farmhouse.
ERX Motor Park
An all-season motorsports facility, featuring snocross racing and training in the winter, and a Beater-X track for Baja Style car racing in the summer.
Elk River Golf Club
A traditional-style course, challenging and fun for all skills and ages. Take in the lush fairways, oak woods, meandering creek and gorgeous greens as you play, and enjoy the spirit and companionship of the game.
Elk River Farmers Market
Thursdays from June through September; at the farmers market you’ll find all of your favorite summertime vegetables.
Shiver Elk River
A family-friendly “chill-a-bration”, this is the place to be in the winter! Live music kicks off a variety of events, which include the Shiver Plunge (take a dip in Lake Orono to benefit your favorite charity), a hockey tournament, a 5K, and an obstacle run.
